A Quiet Adventure

The quiet adventure calls like a whisper carried on gentle mists from sheltered origins among awesome, thunderous sounds of roaring winds and crashing waves. 

The siren calls of curiosity, exploration, and adventure beckon with urgency to get up; get moving and engage wholly with the journey, yet to slow down and linger where beauty is often found in plain sight, conspicuously concealed from those who would blindly pass by in a busy, stupored haste.

From some deep, unfathomable and equally unreasonable place of the human heart, we seek to put ourselves in positions where we are powerless, overtaken by something larger than ourselves, and wish to lavish our worship and adoration on whatever or whomever created such awesome splendor.

Despite all dangers, both real and perceived, we who truly live can imagine no life justly lived without daily stepping out towards and into the great unknown.
